The department of Computer Engineering was started in 1996 with intake 60. Diploma in Computer Engineering is a course designed for students who wish to opt for a computer science course after class 10th/SSC. The course provides a basic understanding of computer science, engineering concepts and mathematical techniques.
It helps students acquire skills and knowledge to become an IT professional in future. The course duration is of 3 and it is the combination and theoretical and practical concepts and finds its implementation in IT firm, communication sector, research and development, medical field etc.
Computer Department is devoted to strive the students to achieve academic competency in Computer engineering by using modern practices, industrial interactions through expert lecture & industry visits.
Also department is committed to motivate students for lifelong learning.
PEO1: Adopt state-of-the-art Computer engineering broad-based technologies to work in multi-disciplinary work environments.
PEO2: Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
PO1: Basic and Discipline specific knowledge:
Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering
problems.

Identify and analyze well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO3: Design/Development of solutions:
Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified
needs.
PO4: Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing:
Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
PO5: Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment:
Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
PO6: Project Management:
Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about
well-defined engineering activities.
PO7: Life-Long Learning:
Ability to analyses individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
PSO1: Apply knowledge of Programming, Computer Security, Software Engineering, Web Design to develop application in the era of fast changing world.
PSO2: Use and apply current technical concepts and practices in Software Testing, Computer Graphics, Computer Networking, Hardware Maintenance and troubleshooting, Operating Systems, Database Management, Data Structure.
PSO3: Analyze Computing problems and find solutions through tools with understanding of social, ethical and environmental context and can work in a team as a member or team leader for lifelong learning.
