Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with design, construction and maintenance of the physical & naturally built environment including works like buildings, roads, bridges, canals, dams and other civil engineering works. The aim of civil engineering department is to develop globally competent civil engineers to plan, design and construct civil engineering structures effectively, efficiently, safely & economically. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty to impart quality teaching to students. The work culture of the department is highly conducive to teaching and learning process. The students are highly motivated to achieve excellence in academics as well as in extra & co-curricular activities. The department prepares students to face challenges in industry as well as society and to excel in higher education and research.
PEO 1. Students will establish themselves as skilled technicians and quality supervisor for addressing the needs of the construction industry and the society.
PEO 2. Students will adapt state-of-the-art Civil engineering technologies prevailing in the construction industries and making themselves able to stand confidently in the rapidly changing industrial scenario.
PEO 3. Students will pursue lifelong learning and they will act professionally and ethically while making decisions fulfilling the societal, cultural and sustainability requirements.
